Dear HSFSA chapter members, officers, and advisors,

Since 2021, the High School Foreign Service Association (HSFSA) has worked to bring diplomacy and the U.S. Foreign Service to high schools across the U.S. Having garnered a strong community and impacted thousands of students, the organization is entering a new stage in its journey.

To that end, we are broadening our mission to additional aspects of international relations education and awareness, while still maintaining a strong focus on the Foreign Service. From now on, the organization is known as the Youth International Relations Coalition (YIRC). We are excited to keep working with all our old chapters throughout this transition!

Partners

The High School Foreign Service Association is glad to have connections with a multitude of prominent organizations. Every partnership and joint project is specifically tailored to benefit students and advance the missions of the HSFSA and its partners.

American Foreign Service Association
The HSFSA was founded in partnership with the American Foreign Service Association.

AFSA is both a professional association and exclusive representative for the U.S. Foreign Service, with 80% of all U.S. Foreign Service Officers in its ranks.

The HSFSA works with AFSA to bring free materials on diplomacy - Inside a U.S. Embassy and the Foreign Service Journal - and guest speakers to its chapters.

National Museum of American Diplomacy
The High School Foreign Service Association cooperates with the National Museum of American Diplomacy to bring Diplomacy Simulations to its chapters.

NMAD's Diplomacy Simulations offer an interactive recreation of the work of U.S. Foreign Service Officers. Building upon real past events, the resource is arguably the best way for a student to experience diplomacy.
